BURLINGHAM - Lyle R. Sinclair, 51, of Burlingham, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at RiversideMethodist Hospitalin Columbus. Born May 3, 1949, in Meigs County, he was the son of the late Alba and Helen Van Nest Sinclair. He was retired from the Athens Post Office and at the time of his death was employed with the city of Gallipolis and First Holzer Apts. He was a member of Amvets of Athens and also a member of the VFW Post 4464 of Gallipolis. He is survived by a daughter, Shelly Sinclair, and granddaughter, LeDeana Sinclair, both of Pomeroy; a son, Kyle, and granddaughter, Alisha Sinclair, both of Pomeroy; two sisters, Loreda Doughlas and Vicki (Francis) Jarvis, both of Athens; three brothers, Paul (Carolyn) Sinclair of Shade, Boyd Sinclair of Athens and Kenny (Shirley) Sinclair of Shade; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Sinclair; a brother-in-law, Walter Douglas; and a niece, Janie Marie Sinclair. Services will be Monday at 1p.m. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home in Albany with Rev. John Elswick officiation. Burial with military services will be in BurlinghamCemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
