1910 Census - Lived with uncle William Hawk, Athens Co. Ohio, troy township. date was 15 April 1910.  Nettie is listed as the 31 yr old neice of William Hawk.  It also has her as divorced and the mother of 5 living children although only 3 live with her at this time.  She was born in Ohio as was her mother, her father was born in Kentucky.

1920 Census - lists her as the 40 yr old housekeeper in the home of [Miles Dingman]. Here it lists her father as being born in Ohio and her mother in New Jersey.  It also lists her as widowed.  dated 9 and 10 Jan 1920.

DIES SATURDAY

Daughter of Late Merrill Pierce Dies at Home in Pomery
Florinda Pierce Sinclair, 75, died at her home in Pomeroy Saturday at "10 o'clock in the morning, Funeral services were held at the church at Jerseyville, Athenscounty, this afternoon at 1 o'clock and burial was made in the Garden cemetery. She was the widow of Lewis Sinclair, a soldier in the Union army in the Civil war, who died twenty-six years ago at Pratts Fork, the family home until last March when Mrs. Sinclair established her home in Pomery. Her health has been poor for several months, a decline having continued for nearly a year. She leaves two sons and a daughter and a number of grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Merrill Pierce and leaves two sisters and one brother, Mrs Ira Conkey of New Marshfield, Mrs Charles Grim of Athens and Isaac Pierce of Carthage township. One sister, Mrs. Warren Burk, preceded her in death.

Mrs Lewis Sinclair died at her home in Pomeroy saturday 7 Nov 1928. At a time she made her residence at Bearwallow Ridge. Mrs. Sinclair's son Charles was with her at her time of death. Her funeral was held Monday 9 Nov 1928 and she was laid to rest in Garden Cemetery, Shade.
